11 + entrance exams
The prospect of 11+ entrance exams can be daunting to both pupils and their parents. Wakefield Tutoring and Educational Consultancy is owned and run by Simon Horsley BA (Hons) PGCE. He has worked in education for 29 years. He has spent 19 years specialising in literacy, numeracy and study skills. His career so far has included six years as Headteacher of Frewen College (Specialist School for Dyslexics), five years as Director of Studies/Deputy Head of Sibford School (one of England's Quaker Schools). He currently works part-time as a tutor to dyslexic undergraduates at Leeds Trinity.
